Date: Thursday, April 26, 2018
Time: 12:00pm - 1:30pm
Location: Great Hall, Midland, MI -or - Isabella Bank, Mt. Pleasant, MI
Speaker: Leanne VanBeek, Left Lane Consulting, LLC

Leanne VanBeek is the owner of Left Lane Consulting, LLC and leads the Michigan Chapter of "Our Community Listens."  She will cover 3 main topics:  (1) Identifying communication styles; (2) Reflective listening to better connect with your clients; and (3) Effective confrontation.

Leanne believes that identifying communication styles can be very helpful when working with clients and colleagues.  Knowing your own style and identifying that of others can help you more effectively understand them and help you get your message across.  One of the universal skills that benefit all those who work in the estate and financial planning areas is that of reflective listening.  This enables connection to truly take place.  Finally, knowing how to deal with conflict within families, as well as coworkers and professional colleagues, is vital to effective and successful estate planning for clients.

A buffet luncheon will be served at noon.  Ms. VanBeek's presentation will begin at 12:30 and conclude at 1:30 p.m.  We hope you will join us at either the Great Hall in Midland (Valley Plaza, 5121 Bay City Rd., Midland, MI) or at Isabella Bank in Mt. Pleasant (139 E. Broadway, Mt. Pleasant, MI).
